Abercrombie burns all it’s unsold clothes. They won’t donate because it is a bad image for the company for poor people to have their clothes.

“Abercrombie and Fitch doesn’t want to create the image that just anybody,  poor people, can wear their clothing. Only people of a certain stature are able to purchase and wear the company name.” — Unnamed Abercrombie and Fitch District Manager (credibility: 2 / 5)

Gross.

Oh.

Their clothes are ugly anyway.

This is vile.

I agree, there is nothing special about their clothes (if they didn’t put their name on everything I would not be able to recognize a particular article of clothing as “Abercrombie”), and this complete submission to the capitalist/consumerist mind-set and system is atrocious.

Fellow enviros/social activists. You know what clothing brand to NEVER. EVER. buy.

why is anyone looking twice at this when it’s the same company that sad it doesn’t want black people wearing their clothes and that’s why they refused to hire black models
the ceos and head people said that, not one manager.
i believe this shit

Also H&M shreds their clothes instead of donating.

You know, one of the reasons I loved Aerie so much when I worked there is that we always donated our unsold merchandise to women’s shelters and charities. So if you ladies like cute, affordable lingerie with a heart, shop there.

note that Aerie also has petite sizes
